When I think of children, I think they genuinely matter. From the depths of our soul, we all want the best for our children. My aspiration is for all children to live an extraordinary life. When I focus on my children, my thoughts project to a spiritual, heartfelt mode to carry out the activities which will provide them the best chance for happiness and success in life.
Mind over matter starts with positive thoughts from our heart and soul, dominating our mind and cultivating our spirit which creates doors where there were only walls before. The more we focus with clarity and defined purpose, the easier it will be to hold our minds fixed upon the picture of what we want for our lives and the lives of our children.
In the book ‘Private School, It’s Not for the Wealthy Anymore’, I outline a step by step process to prepare your child to get accepted into an independent school. Much of the effort is behind the scenes as far as the child is concerned. For instance, parenting by showing children how to behave as a result of leading by example; explaining problems and helping children discover the resolution; signing children up for various activities and other paperwork that we handle as parents. The framework for the process is prepared for you. All you need to add is persistence and determination and the result will be extraordinary.
When I think of matters of the soul, I think of all of the experiences that touch our souls. Our souls travel in and out of various lives. We meet people for a reason and for a season. In the book ‘Dreaming Forever: Lifemare Edition’ Dolapo Demuren, covers matters of both the heart and soul through his poetry. Dolapo’s poetry speaks to young adults as well as adults of all ages. Dolapo Demuren is a 17 year old Honor Student at DeMatha High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. He is an avid reader and a fan of all aspects of literature. Also Dolapo enjoys many genres of music, ranging from many different eras of music.
Dolapo has lived in London, Nigeria and Maryland. His travels include Toronto, San Francisco, Tennessee, Orlando and a few other places. Dolapo resides with his family in Maryland. He wrote this book as an expression of his thoughts, but more importantly, Dolapo wrote this book to capture thoughts of his life.
